2 Ingredient Healthy Donuts!

These delicious, light and fluffy donuts are so easy to make, taste amazing and are even healthy! This recipe is an absolute MUST TRY and one of my favorite recipes of all time, and even better - it only has 2 ingredients and can be made even by the worst cook!


(there's literally ONLY 2 things you need!)

  • 3 cups self-raising flour

  • 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt

  • Oil, for deep-frying

  • Optional toppings - sugar, cinnamon sugar, melted chocolate (your toppings can make it less healthy)


  1. Combine the flour and yogurt in a bowl and stir until completely mixed

  2. Preheat oil in a frying pan or saucepan. Fill the pan so there is enough oil to completely submerge the donuts in

  3. Roll or pipe 1 inch balls of the mixture straight into the oil

  4. Wait for the donuts to rise to the surface of the oil and become golden brown. Use a spoon to carefully move them around a bit. They take about 1/2 minute to 4 minutes to cook.

  5. Scoop the donut balls out of the oil with a slotted spoon

  6. Drain the donuts on a paper towel to remove excess oil

  7. Roll in sugar, cinnamon sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate while hot

  8. Enjoy!!
